The Corner In The Middle

I am looking for reader opinions here.  What is your texting phone of choice?  I am in the market for a good textingphone.  I don’t want one with a data plan, I don’t want email push, just a good, easy to use, with a qwerty keyboard.  It also need not have come out in the last two months.  Even if it’s a year or two old, that doesn’t make it out of bounds.

I have searched a bunch of sites, and each search comes up with palm treo or blackberry.  I don’t want to pay for a data plan on this line.  I have a droid for that.  I want one that gets good reception and ease of use.  So, dear readers, what are you using?
